Thirteen years after fleeing Assad's bombs, our Syrian friends who had found refuge in Lebanon were now able to return home. We visited them there - and prepared the first reconstruction projects.
Back to the roots – support for sea rescue
Since the beginning of December, a Green Helmets team has been supporting the sea rescue organization RESQSHIP with the maintenance of its ship Nadir in Malta.

There is life after Assad!
Back in 2013, our founder Rupert Neudeck was already optimistic that the oppression of the Syrian people by the Assad regime would not last forever. At the time, no one expected that the liberation of Syria would take more than ten years.
Third school built in Malawi
In the Neno district of Malawi, off the beaten track, lies the village of Eleven Village. Here, we Green Helmets have realized a new project together with the local community: the construction of the Namwawa Junior Primary School.
Vehicle training workshop enters the next phase
The vehicle training workshop in Ziguinchor is running extremely well. We therefore felt the time had come to officially hand over the project to our local partner.

A Green Helmets team collected donations at the “Allgäu’s Finest” music festival. We received deposit cups from festival guests, collected can deposits, and sold coffee and pretzels. We will announce the exact donation amount here shortly!

The Wakepark at Brombach Lake in Bavaria is once again organizing a charity run for Green Helmets. The park donates 1 euro per completed lap for our work. Additionally, a Green Helmets team is on site to answer visitors’ questions about projects and volunteer assignments. More info here.

We sincerely thank the company “Tjiko” from Rosenheim for their 19,500 euro donation!! “Tjiko” designs and manufactures bathrooms in modular wooden construction.
