Where does my donation end up?

We try to keep our administrative costs in Germany as low as possible. Because we believe that As much of the money donated as possible should go to local projects. We have remained true to this principle since our foundation. Our expenditure on administration has been very low for years – in 2023, it amounted to just 3,3 Prozent!

The non-profit status of our association is reviewed annually by the tax office. We are happy to provide you with our annual reports and the corresponding exemption certificates from the tax office so that you can also understand our finances transparently.

The Green Helmets deliberately refrain from certification by donation seals. As these are issued by private companies, this would cause continuous costs and drive up our administrative expenses.
