An infirmary for Schlingensief’s opera village (2012–2013)

In 2012, we built a new infirmary for five villages near Ziniare for the opera village project of theater director Christoph Schlingensief, who died young. Based on plans by Burkinabe architect Francis Kéré and his Berlin office, rooms were created for a maternity ward, a pharmacy and a general medical department. Around 100 local workers were involved in the work on site.
